LMS stands for Learning Management System. At CCLM, we use LMS to run or publish our certification courses. 

Once your order is confirmed for an online course, you will receive an access to our LMS.

No. All our certifications are professional certifications and not academic. Candidates who earn our certifications can not use them to pursue higher education degrees and can not use them as credit hours to join universities or any academic awarding organization.

CCLM certifications are professional certifications that have been developed and approved by CCLM board of directors. Such certifications are not academic and hence do not require any third party or governmental approvals or accreditations.

Only CCLM in Canada is allowed to issue and award its certifications.

As per the 2017 announcement by the Certification Board of CCLM, All CCLM certification exams are open to all candidates. The eligibility process has been eliminated. Read the announcement here.

Once you finish the courses, you will be prompted to pass a final exam at 60%. 

You can retake the exam of each certification up to three times within your one-year period, subject to the retake exam fees. 

If you fail any of CCLM Certification exams, you may retake it. There is a US $70 fee. Please email us at Hello@CCLMCanada.org to re-enrol again.

CCLM has transitioned to online-only certificate issuance. If you are writing your CCLM certification exam, and once you pass it, you will be prompted to download your certificate. The certificate is unique to you, with your name, unique and universal certificate number, and issuance date. 

If you are attending any of other CCLM courses, you will also be able to download your certificate upon completion of the course. 

Your certification is valid for 3 years. You have to renew your certification every three years by submitting an online recertification application.

Yes. Certified professionals have to maintain ‘Active‘ status of their certifications by renewing it every three years and prior to its expiry date. Once the certification passes its expiry date, it will show as ”Suspended” in the Certification Registry, and this status remains for 3 months. This would be the last chance to renew the certification without writing the exam again. If the 3 month period elapses, the certification becomes “Expired” and you must write the exam again to earn the certification.

How do I renew my certification?

• • Recertification fees are US $150 for the 3-year cycle. 

As of June 2nd, 2020, The CCLM has ceased the issuance of CCLM CHRP certification, removed the textbook and all references of CHRP from its website and social networks. This is due to the fact that the (CHRP) is registered as a Mark by the “Human Resources Professionals Association” HRPA in Canada.

While CCLM only offered its version of CHRP to international candidates and never  to Canadians or people residing in Canada, it’s been brought to our attention that People could or might have moved to Canada and subsequently changed their address in the registry to Canada.

CCLM requests that all those candidates to refrain from using the ‘CHRP’ Mark in Canada that was issued by CCLM and comply with HRPA rules and regulations and seek the HRPA CHRP certification accordingly. Candidates must visit “Human Resources Professionals Association HRPA” online to get more information. 

To avoid confusion with HRPA CHRP, CCLM has ceased offering its CHRP effective immediately and as of June 2nd, 2020.

“CCLM CHRP is different than the HRPA CHRP. CCLM CHRP is neither endorsed nor supported by HRPA. CCLM is not affiliated with HRPA. HRPA has their own requirements, processes, and procedures to obtain the HRPA CHRP, CHRL or CHRE. You are required to contact HRPA directly to learn about their programs and certifications. Candidates who are required by their employers or work conditions to apply and obtain the CHRP from HRPA must do so, and should not apply for CCLM CHRP. CCLM focus is global and for HR practitioners around the globe.”

Each certification exam has different durations:

No. Once you started the test, you have to finish it in one sitting. You can not save it and come back later.

Our online courses have a 90 day limit so once the time elapses, then, students cannot access the course and its content, however, for students who wish to extend, they must enrol in a new course at 50% discount. This means, students will go thru the modules again. To access the 50% discount, students must contact the college at Hello@CCLMCanada.org using the same name and email address they used the first time they registered in the course.

However, for students who have medical reasons, this fee is waived and will be enrolled in a new course without a fee for an additional 90 days.

This waiver is granted only once for students with a medical reason, and only once within a calendar year.
