CCLM would like to announce significant update to the certification exams. Here’s summary of the key updates and changes:

  • Increased Exam Length and Difficulty (Effective Feb 1st, 2025):
    • CEAP, CSLP, CMKP, CTXP, and CTP exams will now have 100 questions instead of 50, and the exam duration will increase to 120 minutes.
    • This change aims to provide a more comprehensive and accurate assessment of knowledge and skills.
    • There is no change to the CLP, CMP and CSP exams.
  • New Exam Banks and Regular Updates to all exams:
    • Implementation of new, randomized exam banks ensures that each student receives a unique set of questions.
    • Regular updates to the exam banks will keep the content fresh and relevant, reflecting the evolving industry landscape.
  • Updated Proficiency Scale:
    • While the passing score remains 60%, CCLM will now provide a more detailed evaluation using a proficiency scale. This will give students a better understanding of their performance beyond simply passing or failing. The new proficiency scale is:
        • Proficient (80%+): You demonstrated a strong understanding of the certification principles and consistently applies them effectively.
        • Moderately Proficient (60-79%): You demonstrated a good grasp of core concepts but may have some areas for improvement in application or depth of knowledge.
        • Needs Improvement (40-59%): You demonstrated basic understanding however you require significant further study and practice to achieve proficiency.
        • Below Proficient (0-39%): You demonstrated limited understanding of the certification principles; you require substantial effort to reach a sufficient level of knowledge.

The changes emphasize a deeper understanding of concepts and the ability to apply knowledge to real-world scenarios, therefore, students will need to allocate more time for exam preparation to adequately cover the expanded content and increased number of questions.

These changes reflect CCLM’s commitment to maintaining the high standards of its certifications and ensuring that they remain relevant and valuable in the evolving business landscape.
