A) Before You Register
- You should have a valid payment method.
- Valid payment method means a valid credit card, debit card or visa debit card. Personal cheques are not accepted.
- You should use your legal name as shown in a valid governmental-issued identification.
- A valid governmental-issued identification refers to any document issued by a Canadian governmental department or international governmental department, and it carries your full name, date of birth and ID details. The ID must be valid and not expired.
B) After You Register
REFUNDS CLAUSES For In-Class and Live Online Courses:
- A withdrawal request must be submitted to withdraw from a course. The withdrawal request must be submitted in writing. Oral requests to withdraw are not considered official withdrawal requests.
- The written withdrawal request must be submitted using any of the following method:
- By email, your registered email with CCLM
- The written withdrawal request is not acceptable by phone or by any other methods not stated in clause (2).
- The written withdrawal request must include the following:
- Your legal name as per your course registration
- Course name
- Course code
- Invoice number
- Reason for withdrawal
- The written withdrawal request must be received at least seven (7) days before the course start date to receive FULL refund.
- No refund is provided if the written withdrawal request is received less than seven (7) days before the course start date.
- All withdrawal requests and/or refunds; if any, will require approval by the CCLM.
- A refund, if approved, will be issued to the same payment method used during registration; or as otherwise advised by the CCLM.
REFUNDS CLAUSES For Self-Paced Courses:
- There will be no refund for Self-Paced Courses once fees are paid. Since Self-Paced Courses will be available immediately once payment is made, hence, candidates will be able to have access and watch the content directly, hence, there will be no refund for such courses.
TRANSFERS CLAUSES
- A transfer request must be submitted to transfer a registration from a course to another course. The transfer request must be submitted in writing. Oral requests to transfer are not considered official transfer requests.
- The written transfer request must be submitted using any of the following method:
- By email, your registered email with CCLM
- The written transfer request is not acceptable by phone or by any other methods not stated in clause (2).
- The written transfer request must include the following:
- Your legal name as per your course registration
- Course name
- Course code
- Invoice number
- Reason for transfer
- Name of the new course to be transferred to
- Code of the new course to be transferred to
- The written transfer request must be received at least seven (7) days before the course start date.
- Course withdrawals and transfers are also subject to the return of all course materials that may have been issued, in their original condition.
VENUE, INSTRUCTORS, DATES AND TIMES CHANGES
- In special cases, the CCLM might change the course venue, instructors, dates and/or times. The CCLM reserves the right to do so.
- In case of venue, instructors, dates and/or times changes, students will be notified in advanced.
- In case of changes as stated in Clauses 13 and 14, the seven (7) day withdrawal and/or transfer period does not apply. Instead, student can withdraw and/or transfer up to before the second (2) session in their classes.
- If the request of withdrawal is received before the second (2) session of the class, student receives a FULL refund (100%).
- If the request of withdrawal is received after the second (2) session of the class, student receives NO refund.
- If the request of transfer is received before the second (2) session of the class, student request will be processed.
- If the request of transfer is received after the second (2) session of the class, student request will be rejected.
ATTENDANCE, TRANSCRIPTS AND CERTIFICATES CLAUSES
- Certificate of Completion is issued to all students who pass successfully a course.
- Student requires at least to achieve 50% (D) to be considered successfully pass a course, however, this does not include certification courses.
- To pass a certification course (i.e. CLP certification), student must pass the certification exam.
- Certificate of Attendance is issued to students who only attended a course, but fail to pass.
- Transcripts will be issued to all students.
- Student is requested to attend at least 90% of class sessions to receive a certificate of completion certificate AND pass the course examination requirements AND achieve at least 50% as their final grade.
- All certificates and transcripts will be issued between 4-6 weeks after the end date of the course.
- The CCLM follows the following grading system:
- A – 80 – 100%
- B- 70 – 79%
- C- 60 – 69%
- D- 50 – 59%
- F – Less than 50% (F is Fail)
